This one, GOLDEN DREAMS, is a little hotter than you might expect, but is the way I originally wrote it before the previous publishing house asked me to tone it down a tad. I, for one, like it better this way.

Eric knows Sylvia's the woman of his dreams, assuming he dared to dream of a permanent relationship, which he will not, because his jet-fighter father's death destroyed his mother and consequently his childhood. If she can't come to terms with her dislike of a rigid, by-the-numbers future, and he can't stop hearing the echoes of his mother's anguish, can there be any hope for these two star-crossed lovers?

Don't forget to visit the Novelists, Inc. blog for some valuable and fascinating takes on the writing life--a new one every day. log onto www.ninc.com/blogJudy Griffith Gill (judyinthejungle)http://www.blogger.com/profile/00236585789061861601noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8185066791258272347.post-70040294845613982912008-06-21T18:32:00.001-07:002008-09-26T17:08:29.608-07:002008-09-26T17:08:29.608-07:00Some Very Nice ReviewsNO STRINGS ATTACHED www.belgravehouse.com
...is, start to finish, fluff--a fairy tale for grown-ups. (The book) makes its fantastic premise clear from the first page, and I never expected--and didn't find--absolute logical consistency in its plot. Instead, this is the book for that day when you need to escape to an untroubled world where everyone is attractive, the setting is idyllic, and the biggest problem anyone has is a meddlesome genie.
Reviewed by Nancy J. Silberstein

***

HENNESEY'S HEAVEN www.awe-struck.net
Writer Albert Percival Hennessy is working on a novel and caretaking an island in the Pacific North West, when it is invaded by Heaven (Venny) McClure...Venny and Hennessy instantly connect and this is very much a love at first sight story with lots of humor. Poor Hennessey is mightily concerned about his hairless chest and even though he is a NY Times bestselling writer, insecure that Venny will not like the books of A.E. Henson (his pseudonym). Hennessy is a very endearing hero and even though the attraction is instant, one feels his real connection to Venny. HENNESSY'S HEAVEN ... Is a quick, fast and funny read and the end is extremely satisfying.
Rewiewer, Linda Hurst.

***

POCKETS FULL OF JOY <www.awe-struck.net>
Once again author Judy Gill presents a touching romance in POCKETS FULL OF JOY. A pocket full of joy becomes a marvelous metaphor for getting out of the way so we can receive and enjoying life's gifts. Even temporary gifts are to be treasured as much as the permanent as this heroine learns the parenting lesson of letting go. Originally published as part of the Loveswept Line, and now reissued as an eBook from AweStruck, POCKETS FULL OF JOY would have been a regretful loss if relegated to oblivion rather republished. A lively, light romance that brings a tear to the eye, POCKETS FULL OF JOY comes very highly recommended.

Reviewed By C. It'll take you on a wonderful rollercoaster of emotions. Great job, Ms. Gill!
Reviewer: Edna Currie

***
MOONLIGHT MAN (Golden Bangles #2) www.awe-stuck.net
"...a powerful story. Sharon and Marc have a lot of garbage in their past to wade through before trust is possible. A can’t-put-me-down tale, MOONLIGHT MAN comes with an excellent plot and characters that stick in your mind for days.
Reviewed by Brenda Ramsbacher, for Scribblers

***

SHARING SUNRISE Golden Bangles #3 <www.awe-struck.net>
is a vivid finale for the Golden Bangles Trilogy... There are some sexually heated scenes on a romantic boat trip, but author Judy Gill usually keeps her language inexplicit. In spite of the mesmerizing sexual attraction between Marian and Rolph, sex is not the main issue. Like any good chick lit, SHARING SUNRISE has things to say about issues relevant to today's young women. In this case, the issues are overcoming preconceptions and proving oneself worthy of trust." Reviewed by Joy Calderwood, for Reviewers Choice

"It's always a pleasure to reread older classics, and many fans will be pleased to see...Ms. Gill's earlier books brought into the spotlight again. Try SHARING SUNRISE for a good read that will put quite a few smiles on many readers' faces." Thinking she must be going crazy, Lenore tries very hard to hold on to her sanity even when she is faced with the reality of the multi-talented alien. Almost against her will she tramps up into the mountains around the cabin where she is staying and follows the voice in her head to a cave where she finds the injured Jon. There is nothing for it but to help him recover his team which he calls an Octad, and then go on to assist him as he tries to carry out his mission. She might be able to hold on to her heart if she can keep Jon from delving into the emotional baggage she has carried around for years.
A marvelous story constructed with imagination and panache, Whispers on the Wind blends the right amount of romance with adventure and sets it in a future Earth where technology can do more than ours yet isn’t showy or intrusive.
Gill’s wealth of craft talent presents itself from the first page. She gets the story racing before she attends to character development through backstory. Gill’s characters reveal themselves through action and dialogue rather than through exposition or mind speak. Gill does not overload her story with action, action, action. Rather she provides opportunities for quiet time so the major characters can present themselves to one another and the reader. The psionic abilities of Jonallo and his fellow aliens can seem overpowering at times, almost to the point of turning Lenore into their victim, but Gill does solve this problem as the plot moves toward its natural and satisfying conclusion.
Judy Gill is a master of storytelling craft and the reader reaps the reward of her hard work. I for one look forward to many, many more stories from this complete author.
Reviewed by Nancy J. Those are the best dreams because when that happens, I know the characters have taken over and are writing the book for me. It’s like magic, and I love it!

Over a career spanning several decades, I've had 47 original romance novels published by a variety of houses, most notably, Bantam Books, Harlequin, Kensington, Dorchester, and a couple of publishing houses in the UK. All but the first few are sexy romances, some are futuristic, some have paranormal elements, but all have characters who come to life in my mind, and I hope in yours, too.

Wherever my books have been published, they've received great reviews and large readership. I believe this is because I really love writing romance, creating living, breathing characters who have family, friends, children, and pets, jobs, problems, personal likes and dislikes, all those things that make a person unique, like you. Like me. Every hero or heroine in my books is looking for love, whether they know it or not, and each finds their dream in the end--though they may not know in the beginning exactly what that dream was!

I’ve found mine, and I hope you find yours, too, in the pages of my books, in your own life, in your future. My promise to you, the reader, is always to do my very best to give you interesting, dynamic people caught up in the tangles of life, people you’d like to know, to become friends with, maybe to remember for a long time. I promise also to bring you an ending that will make you glad you read the book and eager for the next one—as eager as I am to write it!

Click on the links under each of the books to the left to read sample chapters, reviews, and to order.

Judy Griffith Gill (judyinthejungle)http://www.blogger.com/profile/00236585789061861601noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8185066791258272347.post-73705560806476399022007-11-20T11:06:00.001-08:002007-11-20T11:06:15.919-08:002007-11-20T11:06:15.919-08:00Check out my Slide Show!

Judy Griffith Gill (judyinthejungle)http://www.blogger.com/profile/00236585789061861601noreply@blogger.com0
